Chhaya is a freelance graphic designer based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. She has a degree in graphic design, having attained a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) from the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Her experience in the design industry has covered all sorts of projects from logos to websites, and just about everything in between.

Chhaya's professional experience includes working as an in-house graphic designer for a corporate company, and continuing to work for the same company in a freelance capacity after leaving. She is accustomed to working in a high-pressure corporate environment, and brings the same work ethic to her freelance design business. Chhaya's had a lifelong passion for drawing, painting, creating things and generally making a mess. When Chhaya was a very small child, her mum would always know her daughter was awake in the morning when she could hear the sound of the sticky tape dispenser in action (Chhaya would construct all kinds of things out of various materials, and use tape to stick them together.) Happily, her design capabilities have become somewhat more refined in the intervening years. Chhaya has also had a lifelong passion for the Beatles which was formed at a similarly young age.

Her favourite areas of graphic design include logos, illustration, greeting cards, menus, product packaging, Flash advertising and website design. However, there is rarely a project which she doesn’t enjoy or learn from in some way.
